The High Achiever

You’ve got high standards - for work, for life, for yourself.

You’re no stranger to discipline or structure, and you want to do this right. The issue isn’t motivation - it’s that your default setting is all-or-nothing.

You’ve probably caught yourself saying things like:
“I was doing great until I missed a day… and then I just stopped.”
Or maybe: “If I can’t give 100%, is it even worth it?”

But here's the truth: progress isn’t about intensity - it’s about consistency. And when life gets full (which it always does), the goal isn’t to push harder. It’s to keep showing up - just in smaller, strategic ways.

Not sure where to start? Here are some simple strategies to keep in mind to make things easier.

Define your “B-minus” version

If your A+ routine is a 60-minute lift and meal prep for the week, what’s your B-minus? A 20-minute bodyweight session and a pre-logged grocery delivery? That version is what keeps you consistent when time or energy is low.

Don’t confuse busy with productive

You might feel maxed out, but that doesn’t always mean your actions are aligned with your goals. Before adding more - another supplement, another challenge, another new habit - ask: Is this actually helping, or just making me feel in control?

Stress counts, even if you don’t “feel” it
You’re good at pushing through - maybe too good. But high output without recovery can quietly stall your progress. Don’t underestimate the impact of sleep, downtime, and mental bandwidth.

Block time like you block meetings
If your calendar runs your life, start putting your workouts, walks, or even meals on the calendar. You’re more likely to follow through when it has a time, a place, and a reason - just like everything else you prioritize.
