420 calories and 40g of protein - but it’s ice cream. Whaaat? If you don’t have a Ninja Creami yet, I highly recommend them. They are so helpful for me in a fat loss phase. Takes a while to eat which takes advantage of the satiety effects of increasing time to eat and it’s genuinely enjoyable.

You know how it goes - so many of those “high protein” recipes are garbage. Not this one.

Ingredients

  • 250g fat-free Fairlife milk

  • One scoop of strawberry cheesecake protein powder (I used PEScience)

  • 8g vanilla pudding mix - I tried cheesecake pudding mix but I didn’t like it as much

  • 5g zero-calorie sweetener (I used Truvia)

  • Pinch of salt

  • 100g strawberries (50g as a mix-in, optional 50g as topping)

  • 28g low-fat cream cheese

  • 1.5 graham crackers (I use one as a mix-in, optional additional half as topping)

Instructions

1. Build your base
In a Creami pint, add your milk (250g), protein powder (one scoop), pudding mix (8g), zero-calorie sweetener (5g), and salt (pinch). Mix all of these up using an immersion blender or whisk. Then set aside.

2. Prep your mix-ins

Dice up your strawberries (50g) and cream cheese (28g). Put in a freezable container.

3. Freeze overnight

Freeze your pint and the strawberries/cream cheese. At least 12 hours in the freezer.

4. Blend

Grab your pint, blend using the Lite Ice Cream function, then add a splash of milk (a small splash, half second pour or less), then use the re-spin option.

5. Add your mix-ins

Throw your frozen strawberry/cream cheese combo into the pint and crumble up a graham cracker. Then run the mix-in option on the Creami.

6. Optional - top it off

You could be good to go already, but if you want a fancy “garnish”, add 50g of strawberries and a half crumbled graham cracker on top. Pro-tip, put the graham cracker first and then add the strawberries to make it look nicer for social media. This way, when you add to your Instagram story and tag me (@alexthiemefitness and @mealswithmatti), all of your friends will be shocked and asking you how you made this. You’ll then send them my way (love you).
